Charge:    This committee is charged to facilitate smooth, efficient and collaborative operation between the various campus offices and to communicate necessary revision to the appropriate campus constituency.

COURIER SERVICES
Shawn discussed the letter he sent to Dr. Punches about the courier services delivering all packages to the bookstore. Dr. Punches brought it to the Management Team and it was assigned to Larry/Barry. They approved it and Larry notified the courier services with the location and schedule of hours of the bookstore. He also notified NMCC employees of the change via memo.
We still need to look at the process of packages from the bookstore to the purchasing department and then the process for notification and/or delivery of the packages to the person(s) that ordered it.
The bookstore to purchasing process will be discussed at the next meeting.


PROCESS OF STUDENT BILLING
There seems to be an issue with student being able to understand their invoices.
We need to look at getting the part-time students all the information that they need, especially billing information.

We need to look at what information the students already have and when the students should know the cost, maybe when registering?

Carol will start logging the calls coming in about these issues and see if it’s more of a problem coming from part-time or full-time students.

We will look at this issue at a later time once we have a little more information.

MAILROOM SECURITY
The security of the mail room and its contents was brought to the committee by one of the absent members. We had an open discussion on this matter, based on the information we had but will continue at the next meeting when the member is there to voice their concern. Additionally, members of the committee will be going to the UMPI campus to observe their mail room practices as this may serve as an aid while we look at our own mail room. The members will bring their observation visit notes to the next meeting.
