Most of the discussion centered around the upcoming professional development day, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, January 12th.  (See attached draft agenda – thanks Jen). The committee (Elizabeth?) will roll out the professional development tracking tool during the administrative session first thing in the morning.  The remainder of the day will consist of break-out sessions (45 min each) from which faculty/staff will choose, giving them the opportunity to begin tracking their professional development immediately.

Several suggestions for break-out sessions were discussed: disabilities (Tammy Nelson); 3-D Printer (Pam Buck/Dean Duplessis); PLATO (Laura McPherson); Wellness (Lori Googins); Health Center Services (Linda Mastro); Information Literacy (Eric Pelkey/Gail Roy); Jenzebar Updates (David Wyman); E-Racer (??); Student Engagement (Jen Graham/Shelli Cronkhite); Healthy Eating (Rob Ottiviano); Tour of Res Life facilities (Tom Richard).  Jen G devised a break-out session proposal (also attached)that will be emailed to faculty/staff within the next week.  Proposals are due back to Dottie Martin by Dec. 9th.

The committee will meet and choose the 12 most viable topics and redistribute the options that will be available.  Pre-registration deadline is January 5th.   There will also be a same-day registration option available early on January 12th.

Next meeting TBA (week of Dec 12th?).
