Mailroom
A proximity ID system is in the process of being for security measures. This has been put on hold for now due to the budget but will hopefully be something for this coming summer. The project would secure both the mailroom and copy center with this ID card system.
There are issues with people going through the box of mail before it has been sorted. This disrupts the efficiency of the mail process. An idea of having a sign asking people not to sort through the mail until it has been placed in the mailboxes was brought up. Implementation of this will be up to the mailroom supervisor; Nikki will report back the status at the next meeting.

Campus Vehicle Parking
Shawn discussed his idea of having a new designated spot for the school’s vehicles. The vehicles would be parked in the 6 spots on the right side of the Christie Lobby rear entrance. The “island” would then be solely an employee parking area.
Maintenance staff would have a copy of the keys for each vehicle so the
area around the vehicles could be cleaned of snow when possible.
                  -     Everyone approved of the idea and it will move forward to Dr. Punches.

Bookstore to Purchasing
Everyone agreed the plan of all packages being received in the bookstore has been working well.
There is still a problem with the packages being left out in the hall but a consensus was made that there wasn’t anything that could be done at this present time. All measures to prevent this from happening have already been put in place, they are not being followed.
An idea to have a package “deliverer” was brought up but it would need to be someone who would take ownership of the job and be consistent with it. Night security formerly did this but does not seem to do it anymore.
