Agenda: It was moved, seconded and approved to waive the voting practice and procedure today only so all curriculum changes that was presented at today’s meeting will be voted on by the committee. Business Technology The proposed revision was moved, seconded and approved to change the program name Accounting Information Systems to Accounting Associate of Applied Science which will not come into effect until Fall 2013. Dottie Martin will work with Dwight Clayton, Department Chair to complete the name change approval process required by the MCCS. Arts & Sciences The proposed new required 1 credit hour course 1XX-College Success was moved, seconded and approved and added to the Liberal Studies, AA Program. Dave Raymond and Bill Egeler will work out the logistics of the course, relative to students who transfer in credit hours. The Liberal Studies Program presented a new curriculum which will reduce the required credit hours to 60 credit hours from 64. The committee moved, seconded and approved the following changes to the Early Childhood Curriculum: · Change ECE195-Field Experience in Early Childhood Education II credit hours from 5 to 4 and · Change ECE191-Field Experience in Early Childhood Education I from 2 credit hours to 3 credit hours.
