Northern Maine Community College is a place of learning, not a marketplace. Sales or distribution of all materials such as newspapers and other printed matter, insurance, foodstuffs, and all other articles are prohibited without the express written permission of the Dean of Students. Some exceptions to this policy are periodically made for recognized student organizations and resident hall occupants. Permission, when granted, is for designated areas within the college, and is subject to the restrictions imposed by the approving officials. General solicitation, especially in such areas as classrooms, lounges, and cafeterias is not permitted.
To preserve the privacy and safety of students, the college reserves all rights under law not to distribute student names, phone numbers, e-mail or other addresses to commercial vendors, other parties, or organizations. Last changed: Mar 08 2007 at 2:14 PM
