Subject: Out of State Travel and Liability

Any out of state travel for college business/activities by students or non-employees of the Maine Community College System must be via a chartered bus/van or a form of public transportation. College vehicles are not to be utilized for the purpose of out of state travel.
Further, it is preferred that college employees traveling out of state on college business utilize personal vehicles, a form of public transportation, or rental cars. College/pool vehicles should not be used.
