Subject:     Payment for Snow Days
Section:     Personnel (6100-6199)
Effective:  12/4/90

1. Maintenance personnel who are called in by the Maintenance Supervisor to remove snow on days in which institutional activities are suspended will be paid for the normal workday plus the normal workday hours for the snow day as straight time.
2. For maintenance employees who report to work prior to the announcement of the snow day, 4 hours will be paid and the remainder will be paid in compensatory time plus payment will be made for a snow day or a fraction thereof.
