It is the policy of NMCC to have an Affirmative Action Plan that is in compliance with all federal and state laws, and regulations which prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, race, color, national origin, religion, marital status, age, or handicap. These policies address admission, employment, education, and all other areas of institutional activity.
The college has an Equal Opportunity Committee and an Affirmative Action Plan. Copies of the plan are available for inspection in the library, the administrative office and the Resident Assistant’s office.
Inquiries concerning the application of the provisions of Title VI, Title IX, Section 504 or any other legislation relating to non-discrimination may be directed to the NMCC Affirmative Action Officer, or to the Office of Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education, Room 222, McCormick Building, Boston MA 02109.
