The following procedure is used for the maintenance of NMCC adjunct faculty personnel files:

  1. The Secretary to the Vice President will screen adjunct personnel files for completeness;
  2. The Secretary to the Vice President, about mid-term, will develop a lost of those faculty who have not completed their file with the required *Official Transcripts and will notify them in writing;
  3. The Secretary to the Vice President will develop a spreadsheet that notes the availability of the official transcripts and final grades;
  4. Once the official transcripts and grades have been obtained by the Secretary to The Vice President, he/she will notify the payroll manager that the files are complete and payment should by made; and
  5. Under no circumstance(s) shall the adjunct faculty member be paid without the signature of the Vice President.

*Official Transcripts with seal and registrar’s signature from the university or college awarding the instructor’s highest degree.
